Hill City

A historic town seated in the heart of the Black Hills of western South Dakota. Our central location in this beautiful and majestic pine-covered range of rolling mountain terrain is what earned our community its nickname: "The Heart of the Hills."

Deadwood

Hit the slopes, slots, trails and tables and see why winter is wilder than ever in Historic Deadwood. Deadwood is located along 350 miles of premier Black Hills snowmobile trails and just minutes from two downhill ski resorts. You’ll find the best Après-ski in the historic gaming halls and casinos now featuring live roulette, craps and keno. Plus, explore our Old West history, wild winter events and awesome nightlife. Make Deadwood your new winter destination with room rates lower than any other time of the year!

Spearfish Canyon

The breathtaking limestone palisades of this creek-carved gorge are more ancient than the Grand Canyon – albeit much closer together. Accessible only by horseback until 1893, Spearfish Canyon’s narrow, 1000-foot walls are among the most spectacular scenery in the Black Hills.

Spearfish Canyon is a great spot for wildlife enthusiasts, as the diverse array of plant life provides a comfortable home for deer, mountain goats, porcupines and bobcats.

Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is an American motorcycle rally held annually in Sturgis, South Dakota, usually during the first full week of August. It began in 1938 and was originally held for stunts and races, but it has evolved into being a meeting for motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world. It brings significant income to the citizens of Sturgis, a town of only 6,627 people. It is one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world.
